The design and manufacture of Hydel Gates is to be done by our specialized branch of Engineering and calls for a combination of structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, which necessitates considerable co-ordination between the different activities of respective disciplines.

To cope with the infrastructural requirements for manufacture of such a specialized product, we are fully equipped with well organized modern workshops with a combined area of more than 1 lacs Sq ft, design and engineering wing, skilled supervisions and our traditional expertise.

Deck level rail mounted high capacity lifting gantries and cranes. Our gantry cranes are built to heavy duty specifications, for providing decades of reliable service. Either used indoors or outdoors, gantry cranes are tough performers. The Gantry Crane will be used for operation of Draft tube gate opening or closing for the maintenance purpose and the Rope drum hoist for opening or closing of Intake gate for maintenance 

GMW have designed, fabricated, supplied, erected, tested and commissioned Penstock and Steel Liners for different Hydro-electric Projects on turnkey basis.
Penstock Steel Liners of diameter up to 3500 mm having bifurcation, trifurcation, bends and all special fittings have been fabricated and erected successfully by us.
Depending upon the actual project requirement we design, manufacture and install pressure conduits both as exposed and underground (inclined / straight) penstocks.
Today, we have capacity to handle up to 50 mm thickness plate and our technicians have masterminded welding of special steel requiring rigorous quality control.
For workshop fabricated pieces each of the spools is welded using fully automated SMAW to enhance quality and productivity.
